Pune, Aug. 21 -- An Anganwadi worker from Ambegaon taluka in Pune district, has reportedly been suspended after she allegedly recorded and circulated a video on social media highlighting the poor quality of raw food materials supplied for supplementary nutrition to children at her Anganwadi centre.
The action has triggered controversy, with questions being raised over the quality of nutrition supplied to children and whether the suspension was linked to the worker's allegations regarding substandard food material.
