Tirumala, Sept. 15 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday presented silk robes to Lord Venkateswara on behalf of the state government on the occasion of the annual Brahmotsavams, marking the 16th time he has offered the traditional pattu vastrams to the deity.
Naidu was accompanied by wife Nara Bhuvaneswari, IT Minister and son Nara Lokesh, his wife N.Brahmani and other family members.
Naidu arrived at the Bedi Anjaneya Swamy temple in traditional attire and, after the customary ceremony, carried the silk robes on his head to the hill temple through the Mahadwaram amid Vedic chants and Nadaswaram music.
