Varanasi, June 17 -- Anant Ambani, son of industrialist Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, performed Darshan and Puja at the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
He performed the Shodashopachar (six-point ritual) worship of Baba Kashi Vishwanath in the sanctum sanctorum on Tuesday evening. Anant Ambani also participated in the Saptarishi Aarti of Baba Vishwanath. After the Darshan and Aarti, he toured the temple complex.
After the darshan and Aarti at the Vishwanath Temple, Anant visited the Maa Annapurna Temple. In the sanctum sanctorum, 21 Brahmin priests performed a special Kumkum Puja of Goddess Bhagwati with chanting of mantras. After the puja, he offered a garland to the Goddess and received her blessings.
