New Delhi, July 24 -- India's top seed Anahat Singh continued her brilliant run at the 2026 World Junior Individual Squash Championships, reaching the semifinals with a hard-fought win over Egypt's Habiba Rizk.
World No. 20 Anahat defeated Habiba 11-7, 11-5, 6-11, 11-9 in the quarterfinals to become the first Indian to reach back-to-back semifinals at the World Junior Championships.
With this victory, the young Indian has moved one step closer to creating history as India's first-ever junior world champion. Anahat will now face Egypt's Barb Sameh in the semifinals for a place in the final.
