Chandigarh, June 2 -- : A 25-year-old youth from Punjab's Amritsar district, who moved to Russia around 18 months ago in pursuit of better career prospects, has gone missing under mysterious circumstances, his family revealed on Tuesday. Lovepreet Singh, a resident of Gaggomahal village, has been unreachable for the past month, plunging his parents and relatives into deep distress.
According to Lovepreet's parents, Prakash Singh and Sukhdeep Kaur, acquaintances sharing accommodations with their son in Russia informed them that Lovepreet, along with two other Punjabi youths, had been detained by the Russian military.
