Chandigarh, May 25 -- Amritsar Commissionerate Police on Monday clarified that no firing incident took place outside comedian and actor Kapil Sharma's residence in Amritsar, dismissing reports circulating on several media platforms as rumours.
In an official statement shared on its social media handle, Commissionerate Police, Amritsar, said that "some irresponsible persons are spreading rumours regarding an alleged firing incident outside the house of Kapil Sharma in Amritsar."The police further stated that an official video statement was being issued to clarify the facts and counter misinformation being circulated online.
