Mumbai, March 8 -- The Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) has launched a nationwide campaign titled "Mission 10,000 Futures" to support the education of 10,000 poor and orphan students eligible for Zakat assistance across India.
Under the initiative, AMP plans to mobilise 10,000 donors, each contributing Rs 10,000 to sponsor the education of one student for a full academic year.
AMP president Aamir Edresy said the campaign aims to prevent students from discontinuing their studies due to financial hardship.
"Education remains one of the most effective tools of empowerment. If individuals support even one student, thousands of children can continue their education," Edresy said.
