Lucknow, Aug. 11 -- Amitabh Thakur, a former IPS officer and national president of the Azad Adhikar Sena, has questioned the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust's selection process for the Ram Temple's first Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
In his letter to the Trust, based on various media reports, he stated that out of approximately 5,200 applications, 18 candidates were told they have been called to Ayodhya for final interviews on August 11 and 12. He has not received any such information.
Thakur stated that he has no personal complaint regarding his selection or non-selection, but the Trust's procedures so far raise serious questions about the transparency of the entire selection process.
