Mumbai, Aug. 8 -- union Minister for Home and Cooperation Amit Shah on Saturday unveiled a technology-led roadmap for the country's urban cooperative banking sector, saying digital transformation, cyber security and greater transparency were essential for Urban Cooperative Banks (UCBs) to remain competitive in the evolving financial landscape.
Addressing a gathering at the BSE International Convention Centre here, Shah launched four key initiatives of the National Urban Cooperative Finance and Development Corporation (NUCFDC), the umbrella organisation for UCBs, and inaugurated its new office in Fort.
