Hyderabad, Nov. 2 -- union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday offered prayers at the Bhagyalakshmi temple in Hyderabad's Old City.
He was received at the temple entrance by temple authorities and performed special pujas to Goddess Bhagyalakshmi.
Union Minister G Kishan Reddy, MP Raghunandan Rao, Telangana BJP president N Ramchander Rao and other party leaders were present on the occasion.
Earlier, on his arrival at Begumpet Airport, Shah was received by union Coal and Mines Minister G Kishan Reddy and several BJP leaders.
Following the temple visit, Shah proceeded to ITC Kakatiya Hotel, where actor Chiranjeevi, his son Ram Charan and My Home Group chairman Jupally Rameswara Rao were expected to meet him.
