Hyderabad, Nov. 2 -- union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday evening participated in the Maha Padayatra titled 'Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy', organised by the Telangana BJP from the statue of Dr Babu Jagjivan Ram at Bashirbagh to Moazzam Jahi Market (MJ Market), protesting against the Opposition parties' agitation over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
Shah participated in the padayatra holding the national flag. The march covered a distance of around 1.5 km and culminated at MJ Market, where he was scheduled to address a public meeting.
