Hyderabad, April 14 -- Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Tuesday said that the proposed Women's Reservation Bill was inspired by the ideals of B.R. Ambedkar. He urged all political parties to support the legislation beyond partisan lines.
After paying tributes to Dr BR Ambedkar on his birth anniversary here, the Minister said that as architect of Indian constitution, Dr Ambedkar was a "beacon of hope" for the oppressed and the marginalised communities and his crusades against untouchability continue to inspire millions of people across the world.
