Hyderabad, Aug. 8 -- Amazon, a mega e-commerce company, today launched a Supplementary Nutrition Programme covering more than 9,071 children across 130 government schools in Kandukur, Yacharam and Shabad mandals of Rangareddy district, with the initiative aimed at addressing hunger-related absenteeism and improving students' classroom concentration.
Funded by Amazon and implemented by the Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust, the programme was launched at ZPHS Hythabad in Shabad mandal.
The launch was attended by A. Madhusudhan Reddy, Chairman, Zilla Grandhalaya (Libraries) Samstha, Rangareddy District, and Venkateshwarlu, District Education Office.
