Jammu, July 3 -- Amid the chants of 'Bam Bam Bhole', a second batch of 3865 pilgrims on Friday left for the Shri Amarnath cave shrine here from Yatri Niwas base camp.

A second batch of 3865 pilgrims this morning left for the Kashmir Valley from the base camp to perform pilgrimage from the twin tracks of the Shri Amarnath Yatra.

As per officials, 1735 pilgrims left for Baltal, while 2130 left for the Pahalgam route to perform pilgrimage in a fleet of buses and private vehicles in the form of a convoy.

However, the yatra convoy left under the tight security arrangements.

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday morning flagged off the first batch of pilgrims here from the base camp.
