Jammu, June 29 -- As part of the comprehensive security arrangements for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra, the Special Operations Group (SOG), Jammu, in collaboration with the National Security Guard (NSG), conducted a joint counter-terror mock drill here at Raghunath Temple ahead of annual Shri Amarnath Yatar starting from July 3.
The first batch shall be flagged off here from Bhagwati Nagar based Yatri Niwas.
"The joint mock drill exercise simulated a high-risk terrorist contingency involving rapid response, area domination, intervention tactics, hostage rescue, casualty evacuation, and inter-agency coordination," said a spokesman.
