Jammu, June 29 -- The dry run of Shri Amarnath Yatra was conducted on Monday from Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas, Jammu to Banihal, Ramban in Jammu division.
Divisional Commissioner Jammu Ramesh Kumar, Inspector General of Police Bhim Sen Tuti and Inspector General CRPF Jammu Sector Amol V Homkar reviewed the arrangements for convoy movement, security and pilgrim facilities at the halts at Chanderkote and Banihal in Ramban.
The convoy departed in the early hours of the morning with senior officers leading in the convoy bus.
They undertook a thorough review of the yatra route from the Yatri Niwas to Banihal.
