Jammu, June 20 -- To foil any nefarious designs by hostile elements, an anti-drone system has been installed at the Yatra Reception Centre in Lakhanpur, Kathua district, to facilitate pilgrims arriving for the annual Shri Amarnath Yatra.
The annual pilgrimage will commence on July 3 and conclude on August 28.
"The hi-tech system has been installed to counter any drone movement from across the border. Security forces are also continuously conducting combing operations in areas along the India-Pakistan International Border in the district," official sources said.
