Chandigarh, April 16 -- The Haryana government has formally distributed departmental responsibilities among the top officials within Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini's Office (CMO). According to an official notification released on Thursday, retired IAS officer and Chief Principal Secretary (CPS) to the Chief Minister, Rajesh Khullar, has emerged as the most influential figure in the administrative setup, being entrusted with a massive portfolio of 18 key departments. Khullar will directly oversee critical wings of the state government, including Home, Finance, Excise and Taxation, and Vigilance, further solidifying his role as the primary strategist in the Chief Minister's inner circle.
