Varanasi, June 14 -- Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) Rajiv Krishna said on Sunday that the absconding mastermind behind the banned cough syrup mafia, Shubham Jaiswal, would be brought back to the country soon.
"We have obtained the necessary documents from the relevant court and sent them to Dubai through central agencies. The process of obtaining the court's order is underway. He will be brought back soon," the DGP said at a press conference after a meeting with senior officials at the police lines to discuss security, crime, action against criminals, traffic management, and other issues pertaining to Varanasi.
