Prayagraj, July 16 -- A hearing was held in the Allahabad High Court on the petition of jailed Delhi University student Akriti Chaudhary in Noida's infamous labour violence case in April last.

Akriti Chaudhary filed a habeas corpus petition in the Allahabad High Court. The court directed all respondents, including the central government and the state government, to file their replies within three weeks.

The petitioner was given one week to file a rejoinder.The next hearing in the case will be on September 1.

A double bench of Justice Siddharth and Justice Vinay Kumar Dwivedi heard the case on Thursday.
