Mumbai, Aug. 11 -- Akshay Kumar is set to embark on an unusual cinematic journey with "Samuk", an ambitious alien survival thriller that will begin filming in London on August 23, according to industry sources.
Directed by Kanishk Varma and backed by producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the film will be shot largely in London, which will account for around 90 per cent of the production. The makers are planning a single extended shooting schedule to complete the bulk of the production rather than breaking it into several phases, according to Variety India.
