Lucknow, June 26 -- Samajwadi Party (SP) national president and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has launched a sharp attack on the Yogi-led Uttar Pradesh government, referring to the Allahabad High Court's observations on the appointment of village heads as administrators.
He said that while the government is highlighting its achievements, the High Court's remarks have raised serious questions over the decision.
In a statement shared on social media, Akhilesh Yadav said the High Court has termed the government's move to appoint village heads as administrators after the end of their tenure as "unconstitutional".
