Jhansi , Aug. 1 -- Uttar Pradesh Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh on Saturday launched a sharp attack on Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav, asserting that the former chief minister would never return to power in the state.
Speaking to reporters in Jhansi, Singh said, "Akhilesh, you will grow old but will not be able to come to power in Uttar Pradesh."The minister alleged that during the Samajwadi Party's rule between 2012 and 2017, the state witnessed hooliganism, poor law and order, land grabbing and extortion.
"That is why the people of Uttar Pradesh gave the BJP a landslide victory in 2017 and repeated the mandate in 2022," he claimed.
