Prayagraj, June 28 -- Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday criticised the BJP over the alleged theft of offerings at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, claiming the party believed in "Donation First, Nation Second".
Addressing a press conference during his two-day visit here, Yadav alleged that the controversy over the temple donations was being used to divert attention from issues such as question paper leaks and the recent fire incident in Lucknow.
He claimed repeated examination paper leaks had adversely affected students, particularly those from poor families, and alleged that coaching institutes were being pressured against raising the issue.
