Hyderabad, March 9 -- Leaders of the All India Students Federation on Monday alleged that the education sector is facing a serious crisis and demanded that the government hold discussions on the report of the Telangana Education Commission before implementing its recommendations.

Speaking at a meeting of AISF state office-bearers held at Dr Raj Bahadur Gaur Hall in Himayat Nagar, AISF National Vice President N A Stalin criticised the Centre's National Education Policy 2020, alleging that it promotes centralisation, corporatisation and commercialisation of education.
