Hyderabad, Oct. 18 -- The All India Students' Federation (AISF) has demanded strict action against the management of MVSR Engineering College at Nadargul in Ranga Reddy district following the collapse of a lighting structure during a Dandiya event on Saturday.
In a statement on Sunday, AISF State President Kasireddy Manikanta Reddy and State Secretary Putta Lakshman expressed grief over the incident, which reportedly left two students dead and several others injured. They alleged that the tragedy occurred due to negligence by the college management and claimed that the event was organised without the required permissions and in violation of Higher Education Department regulations.
