Kochi, June 13 -- An Air Arabia flight operating from Sharjah to Kozhikode was diverted to Cochin International Airport in the early hours of Saturday after the aircraft developed a technical issue related to its engine reverse thrust system.
The flight, G9 454, was en route from Sharjah to Kozhikode when the technical snag was detected. In accordance with established aviation safety procedures, airport authorities at Kochi initiated emergency preparedness measures to ensure the safe handling of the aircraft's arrival.
