Hyderabad, March 1 -- All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) president Asaduddin Owaisi has strongly condemned the attack on Iran, terming the killing of the country's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as inhuman, unlawful and immoral, and a serious violation of international law.
In a statement on Sunday, Owaisi said the ongoing war must end immediately and urged the Government of India to play a constructive role in de-escalation and peace-building efforts.
He expressed hope that the BJP-led central government would clearly and unequivocally condemn such unlawful acts of violence.
