Patna, Sept. 2 -- As part of the 41st National Eye Donation Fortnight, AIIMS Patna on Wednesday organized an eye donation awareness walk to create awareness among the public about eye donation and the importance of corneal transplantation in restoring sight to people suffering from corneal blindness.

Addressing the programme, the Head of the Department of Ophthalmology, Prof. (Dr.) Amit Raj highlighted the achievements of the AIIMS Patna Eye Bank, stating that the eye bank has received 112 eye donations since the establishment of the Eye Bank in May 2025.
