Patna, Aug. 18 -- The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Patna and Population Services International (PSI) India have entered into a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen family planning programmes in Bihar, with a special focus on the introduction of new contraceptive options, research, evaluation, capacity building, and innovative learning approaches.
Executive Director, AIIMS Patna, Dr Raju Agarwal, said here on Tuesday that the MoU establishes an institutional framework for collaboration between the two organisations to promote evidence-based family planning initiatives and generate research that can contribute to improved programme planning and implementation in the state.
