New Delhi, Sept. 2 -- The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has constituted a committee to examine the clinical course and circumstances surrounding the death of 15-year-old Tanvi, after her father alleged that repeated delays prevented his daughter from receiving potentially life-saving heart surgery.
The committee will examine the sequence of treatment, medical records, investigations, expert opinions and the circumstances leading to Tanvi's death, AIIMS said on Wednesday. An autopsy is also underway, with its findings to be considered as part of the inquiry.
