Puducherry, May 7 -- Apprehensive of poaching of its flock, the AIADMK leadership has kept its flock confined at a luxury resort at Poornankuppam in neighbouring Puducherry.
The move to herd the newly elected legislators comes in the wake of the Congress joining hands with the TVK of Vijay, who emerged as the single largest party in the April 23 Tamil Nadu Assembly polls winning 108 seats, but fell short of majority by 11 seats, resulting a delay in his coronation.
There were also reports that attempts are on to lure a section of the AIADMK legislators to shore up majority for the TVK.
AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami (EPS) is slated to hold discussions with the newly elected legislators on the future course of action.
