AI technology to help mango and cashew farmers; A project that will bring about revolutionary changes in the agricultural sector - Nitesh Rane

Kolhapur, Oct. 3 -- An AI-based 'Smart Farming' pilot project for mango and cashew farmers was inaugurated by State minister Nitesh Rane on Saturday.

Due to changing weather conditions, mango and cashew fruit crops in Sindhudurg district have been affected in the last one and a half-two years. To reduce the effects of climate change and to enable farmers to practice sustainable farming, it is necessary to provide modern technology, the minister noted.

Nitesh Rane expressed his belief that this initiative will bring about a technological revolution in the agricultural sector of Sindhudurg.
