Puducherry, March 19 -- Ahead of the April 9 elections to the Puducherry Territorial Assembly, sitting Independent MLA P.Angalan, elected from Thirubhuvanai (Reserved) constituency in 2021, joined the DMK on Thursday.
Angalan had served as a Minister in the previous Congress regime and he contested as an Independent in the last election from Thirubhuvanai and won it.
He was supporting the AINRC-BJP government.
Recently he joined the new political party of Lakshya Jananayaga Katchi (LJK) formed by Jose Charlse Martin and was very close to the leader.
