Jammu, March 5 -- Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday underscored the immense potential of agriculture and allied sectors in fostering startups and entrepreneurship in the union Territory, stating that focused government initiatives are helping build a strong innovation-driven economic ecosystem.
Addressing a Startup Outreach Programme organised under the Jammu and Kashmir Competitiveness Improvement of Agriculture and Allied Sectors Project (JKCIP) at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Jammu (SKUAST-Jammu), the Chief Minister said agriculture holds the greatest promise for sustainable economic growth and employment generation in the region.
