Lucknow, Sept. 9 -- After recording the highest domestic tourist footfall in the country in 2025, Uttar Pradesh is now mapping facilities at tourism destinations across the state to ensure that the visitor experience keeps pace with rising numbers.
The Tourism Department has prepared a pro forma containing parameters to be filled at the regional level. Regional Tourist Officers have been asked to record details of road connectivity, transport options, lighting, passenger shelters, ramps, Hindi and English signage, tourist facilitation centres and tourism offices.
