Mohan Lal VermaShimla/Solan, March 16 -- Ending four days of political hospitality in Himachal Pradesh, 31 Congress MLAs from the Haryana Legislative Assembly on Monday morning left for Chandigarh to participate in the Rajya Sabha election scheduled at the Haryana Vidhan Sabha.
The legislators departed between 8 and 9 AM in a tightly guarded convoy after being stationed at tourist resorts in the hill state since Friday.
According to security staff and local correspondents monitoring the movement, the MLAs travelled in a cavalcade comprising three tempo travellers along with nearly ten escort vehicles, including police and government vehicles.
