Puducherry, May 13 -- AINRC Founder-President and Puducherry.Chief Minister N Rangasamy on Wednesday waited for one minute to sign the document after he was sworn in as the 16th Chief Minister of the 16th Territorial Assembly.
The swearing in ceremony commenced at 0945 hours and the Lt.Governor Kailashnathan administered the oath of office and secrecy to Rangasamy.
After taking the oath of office and secrecy, Rangasamy will have to sign the document. Before signing, a superstitious Rangasamy called his security officer Jayaraman and asked what the time is, to which he replied that it is 0946 hrs.
Following this Mr Rangasamy waited for one minute in silence and signed the papers at 0947 hours which he considered as the auspicious time.
