Kabul, Sept. 24 -- Afghanistan on Thursday warned of "dire consequences" after Pakistan carried out aerial and drone strikes on Afghan territory, with Afghan government spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid saying four people were killed in the latest attacks.
Mujahid said Pakistani forces had carried out strikes overnight in Afghanistan's southern Kandahar province and the eastern provinces of Paktia and Khost.
"Last night, the Pakistani military regime once again trespassed into the Afghan provinces of Kandahar, Paktia, and Khost, carrying out attacks and aerial bombings," Mujahid said in a statement posted on X.
