Imphal, July 29 -- Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL) on Wednesday inaugurated its first coaching centre in Manipur, expanding its footprint in the North-East.
The company also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Assam Rifles to provide scholarships, fee concessions and academic support to serving personnel, veterans and their families.
The announcements were made during a press conference here.
Varun Soni, Khuraijam Ricky and T Phulen Meitei officialy opened the centre at Thaoroijam, Imphal West near Heaven Garden. Spread across nearly 8,000 square feet, the centre has five classrooms with a seating capacity of more than 300 students.
