Bengaluru, Sept. 18 -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday warned that delays in defence aerospace projects could create critical capability gaps, escalate costs and even render indigenous technologies obsolete by the time they enter production, calling for realistic timelines and faster development.
Addressing a ceremony here to mark the handover of the LCA FOC Trainer, Dhruv Next Generation helicopters and HTT-40 basic trainer aircraft, Singh said delays in crucial technology projects must be taken seriously as India seeks to build a self-reliant and globally competitive aerospace sector.
