Bengaluru, Sept. 3 -- union Minister HD Kumaraswamy on Thursday put Karnataka Home Minister Priyank Kharge on the spot over alleged irregularities in the recruitment of Assistant Engineer (Grade-I) posts, demanding answers to 10 questions and challenging him to explain why appointment orders were issued despite the matter being before the High Court.
Addressing a press conference at the JD(S) headquarters here, Kumaraswamy said the questions related directly to decisions taken when Kharge was the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister, under whose department the recruitment was conducted.
