Pune, May 15 -- Social activist and philosopher Ulhas Pawar on Friday stressed the need to adopt the teachings of saints regarding tree conservation and environmental protection.
Speaking at a special felicitation ceremony organized by the Rangat-Sangat Pratishthan at Aksharvel Hall here to honour Dr. Ramdas Marne for his contributions to tree plantation and environmental conservation, he said that language, family values, and environmental culture are currently passing through a difficult phase, making social and environmental awareness more important than ever.
