Kolkata, Aug. 15 -- The dream of Narendra Modi's 'Viksit Bharat' in 2047 will be possible if we can build a 'Viksit West Bengal', Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari said on Saturday, calling upon people to set aside political differences and join the effort to make the state "the best in India".
Addressing the Independence Day programme at Red Road, Adhikari said "Prime Minister Modi's vision of a developed India by 2047 could be realised only if West Bengal itself emerged as a developed state.""Let us make West Bengal the best in India," he added.
It was Adhikari's first Independence Day programme at Red Road as chief minister since taking charge of the state government.
