Kakinada, July 3 -- Kakinada Joint Collector Apurva Bharat on Friday assured farmers that adequate stocks of urea are available in the district for the ongoing Kharif season, and urged them not to pay heed to rumours regarding fertilizer distribution.
During a visit to Prathipadu in Prathipadu mandal, the Joint Collector, accompanied by Assistant Collector Priya and officials of the Revenue and Agriculture departments, inspected a urea godown and reviewed fertilizer stocks.
Interacting with farmers, Bharat explained the functioning of the newly introduced National Farmer Fertilizer mobile application launched by the State Government for fertilizer distribution.
