Mumbai, Sept. 14 -- Adani Power's Unit-2 of the Godda Ultra-Supercritical Thermal Power Plant (USCTPP) in Jharkhand resumed electricity supply to the national grid of Bangladesh from Sunday, official sources informed on Monday.

Unit-2 of Adani Power's Jharkhand-based power plant had stopped functioning due to a technical fault since Thursday (September 9) midnight, which has now been rectified.

The technical fault at Unit-2 had forced Adani Power to reduce power supply and transmit only an average of around 748MW, from Unit-1, which functioned normally.

Unit-2 had to be taken offline after it developed a boiler problem late on Thursday.
