Kolkata, Sept. 24 -- Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani announced plans to invest more than Rs 1 lakh crore in West Bengal by 2035, with the proposed investments spread across ports, logistics, power generation and distribution, roads and bridges, cement manufacturing and hyperscale data centres.
Speaking at the foundation stone-laying ceremony of Adani Arogya Mandir in New Town on Thursday, Adani said the group's investment plans were based on the state's strategic geographical location, connectivity and economic potential.
"Infrastructure can transform the potential of millions of people. At the Adani Group, infrastructure is at the heart of everything we do," Adani said.
