Mumbai, June 15 -- : Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) officially announced here on Monday that it plans to commission its 14 GWh of battery energy storage (BESS) facility at its Khavda renewable energy park in Gujarat by the end of the fiscal year 2026-27.

The move is aimed at reducing renewable energy curtailment and improving the utilisation of clean power generation, according to the company statement.

The BESS facility will support the company's ongoing development of its Khavda renewable energy park, which is one of the world's largest clean energy projects.
