Mumbai, June 29 -- Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has informed the stock exchanges that it has operationalised a 150 MW solar power project at Khavda, in Gujarat, through its wholly owned step-down subsidiary, Adani Renewable Energy Eight Limited (ARE8L).
According to the regulatory communication to the exchanges which was signed by AGEL Company Secretary Pragnesh Darji, commercial power generation began from Sunday, June 28, after which AGEL's total operational renewable energy generation capacity has increased to 19,985.8 MW, which is only 15 MW short of its 20 GW milestone. AGEL has targeted an operational capacity of 30 GW by 2029.
