Chennai, April 28 -- Actur-turned-politician and TVK Founder Vijay on Tuesday offered darshan at the famous Tiruchendur Subramania Swamy temple, one of the six abodes of Lord Muruga, in the south coastal Thoothukudi district of Tamil Nadu.

Vijay, who arrived in Madurai last night, drove down to the temple town of Tiruchendur and took part in the Viswaroopa darshanearly in the morning.

Temple priests accorded him a traditional Poorna Kumbh reception upon his arrival.

Later, Vijay, attired in silk dhoti and sporting a silk angawastaram, participated in the Viswaroopa darshan and was presented witha Vel and a shawl by the temple authorities.
